The Illusion call Love and why it is hard for some people to understand

The Illusion call Love and why it is hard for some people to understand

What is love.?.... in the absence of love, what do we have? if the opposite of love is hate, do we then hate all that we dont love.? And if in the absent of love and hate, we now have like and dislike, why do we cry for love and would even kill for it... now what type of people fall in love or at least pretend to be in love and lastly how long does it last to be in love... many of us have various explanation to all these questions.. But the question i have for those is very simple.. Are the answers they have from books and theories from other peoples experiences. If its true, then why do we have to use it and why cant we use our own experience and explanations even when it is obvious that they dont work, secondly why do we cry and shed tears and heart breaks when these illusions fade

Personally I believe that wise guys (man/woman) dont do it (love) and only fools cry and hope for it.. We are human, although we may try to want and indulge in it.. it is a wasted effort..Because only the gods have the power to do those.. We can pretend to love and tell each other what they will like to hear but the truth is that its all lies. because nobody in his right mind will actually pay the full price for love when it really count. Only Christ could do that even facing the ultimate sacrifice.( According to the Bible, he came from above and therefore not a mare mortal ) But for us all, everything has to be for a price. Either you are doing and saying it to people for something they have which you want or they are doing and saying it to you for something they want which you have( especially the smart ones among us)...

But still, only fools go into it hoping to loose all and gain little.. it is an illusion and the earlier you wake up, the better for you..... The only time you can experience love as far as iam concern is between a mother and her child or children... Even that still has a limit.. We can make excuses as to why our wishes dont come to pass or last as we want and we can use other peoples illusionary ideas and empty theories in their trashy books and seminars to console ourselves, but deep down we know its  a wasted effort. I believe that we should enjoy the bliss as long as we have it from where ever/ whenever/ whomever it might come from.. If your plan is to have children.. get them and move on and let the dead bury their dead.. After all it is only children that the Bible says that  are inheritance from the lord and blessed is he that has his quiver full of them" NOT friendship, Boys/ girls / love and romance / money / fame /or any other bullshit that we are crying and killing each other  here on earth for...... listen and be wise...

There is nothing ironic about what we do as humans because that is our nature, although we might pretend to do and know otherwise or even hate or kill to prove our empty points.. The truth is still there. After the dust of our illusion fades, we come to face reality.. To some people, it takes longer to fade while to some they see the hand writing on the wall and count their blessings or losses whichever they remember first.. The real irony is that even though our faces are different and we see things differently, how come we still rely on other people`s idea on how to love and be love....
We have the natural ability to know what our nature demands and that is procreation and when or however we go about doing it is totally irrelevant... This idea of Love is an illusion and the earlier we understand that part of the characteristics of a thing being an illusion is for it not to be constant . And when we realize that, then an only then would we not cry or kill for it.............

Great minds and their thought process.

Great minds and their thought process.

How I wish that all men will have such love for their people and do everything to uplift and sustain the lives of their fellow men. I never met him, but this quotation from my good friend, a Muslim, an Arab, a God fearing religious citizen and a human being like me. made me to now call him a man with a great mind... I  have never heard any leader utter such, even during, or after they have been elected, or being voted  into a public office, or even after they leave office. And I am now wondering, as the Nigerian election is coming, if my only wish for my country will come through this time and that is that we will finally have a leader who`s only interest is to develop Nigeria . Each time I thought of a leader and who he should be like, I remember the Prime minister of the United Arab Emirate..As I think about him and comparing him with all our politicians and the way they behave in Nigeria, I get so upset with their utterances, manipulations and uselessness most especially when they hide under the guise of religion and commit all kinds of atrocities against their fellow citizens.

Somehow I wonder if there is a difference between our own type of Muslim religious believe that my fellow citizens practice in Nigeria and other parts of the world.  Because instead of building, we are destroying our environment and killing our fellow citizens in the name of religion, and the worst part of it is that as these atrocities are going on or being perpetrated, you still hear people saying Allah-Akbar and so on.. From the little I know about Arabic, that should mean that God is great.. Now tell me how God can be great when our fellow citizens are being killed in his name.. when I read the news about my country Nigeria and the uselessness of our so called leaders, I  start to wonder if we  actually know  why we are made to be in this life in the first place and what our purpose in life is, because I am sure it does not involve killing  our fellow men for whatever reason or destroying our environment and still have the effrontery to commit God`s name into it....... whether its a Christian or Muslim, the result is still the same. in Nigeria, the more he or she proclaim to be religious, the more corrupt he or she becomes. go to the north, the south, east and west, the devastation and rechednes of the people are all obvious and Iam still wondering how we can sit in the same church, mosque or wherever and claim to know even the direction of heaven

This was a response that this my friend gave on a TV interview about the rate at which he was building his country. And it has become my favorite quotation...... When the reporter from CBS 60 minutes program asked to know why he is developing his country at the rate he was going about it, which according to the reporter"... development that could take other developed countries 10 to 15 year to achieve, this was his reply
"....If development and all the good things of life like good roads, fully equipped specialist hospitals, industries, housing for my fellow citizens and a first class education etc, can take other countries of the world 10 - 15 years to achieve. I want my people to have all those today, not tomorrow, or 10- 15 years from now.I want them to have all the good things of life, especially all that makes life easy to live now that I am still alive..."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The prime Minister of the United Arab Emirate.

That single answer made me to love him and I wish that every other leader especially from my country Nigeria will learn from him.our leaders have no excuse. So instead of encouraging the destruction of what we already have , let us start building our country and stop all these hatred and killings in the name of God and stop glorifying God in the process.

If we really believe that we can be great like other countries of the world we should start thinking like great people, with great minds and let our thought process be based on production and not destruction, because whatever the excuse for all the killings and destructions, it will never improve our lives. Our problem have never been about our different religious believes but rather the lack of leaders with great minds......

Nigerian Parasuit and What it says about Us as a People

Nigerian Parasuit and What it says about Us as a People

by Okomyson Mark on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 9:51am
For most of my friends who always asked me what and why I call this our dressing Parasuit and object to wearing it even when I can purchase a container load of it..... Lets  be honest to ourselves.. My question is very simple. when you look at this picture, does it not look like a parasuit and dont you think that the governor, I mean the clown is risking his life and that he is a road hazard, in fact he is a nuisance to other road users.. imagine what could happen if God forbid he fly off from that bike and land on our meat on one of the numerous high-jack( bicycle) taking them to Ariaria or cemetery market?... wahala dey seriously!..

And even the funny names we give this dresses and how our people especially the women feel so powerful wearing 10 yards of textile on their body.. Honestly wahala dey seriously. I call it parasuit and we should stop risking our lives... one of my Hausa friend made a case for their own style of the parasuit, claiming that theirs  is less heavy compared to our Isi- Enyi.. ( igbo`s parasuit ).... Haha... I honestly believe that one complete Isi-Enyi will conveniently weigh ten pounds and even upon the heat and the sweat "plus including" the embarrassing walking stick we proudly carry about as "chiefs and whatever...."

Is even funny when people go to church and for whatever reason, you see our people saying "I claim it in Jesus name" even with the "nkpaka" or nkpara."( walking stick) My question again is a very simple one. Why do you want to go about with this nkpaka shit and be claiming "cripple or handicap" in the name of tradition... all over the place... hahah. seriously wahala dey... I know one mumu will say, just because you cant afford it, so dont condemn it...I have them just to show the same mumus, but I really dont see the reason why I should stress my life in the Nigerian sun wearing a 10 pounds parasuit, when I can easily wear a clean shirt and trousers that weigh just less than 2 or 3 ponds and save the remaining 7 pounds for other people..

As far as I am concern, our mode/ style of dressing, still exhibit that inherent greedy nature in all of us. And we are still wondering why our environment is in the shape it is today........ Yes some may argue that our dressing has nothing to do with our environment and all that..... our lame excuses that we use to defend our so called ways of life, but I believe that we all are just as greedy in some way as our leaders even as we will like to claim otherwise.......

Yes Iam from Igbere Ebiri Okomoko.

what makes us proud? .......There are a lot of things that makes us very proud.
Our cherished history, our good work ethics. No Igbere man will prefer to sit at home and makes excuses for not being able to contribute to the well fare of his family and the community, we are proud to state our achievement and contribution to the upliftment of our community and we compete withing ourselves to be good example to our youths .We crave recognition and emblems, that are associated with personalities of prominent Igbere sons and daughters that were here before us.we are proud because we are goal getter's in every field we might find ourselves
why should people care about our style of politics?.....Because as an Igbere man, we are not afraid to undertake challenges that personalities from other neighboring communities dread to even look at.We are not afraid of the possibility of failure in any circumstance, and as an Igbere man, from the day you were born, your were made to believe that nothing is impossible under the sun.We are born leaders. That is why we run for elective offices wherever we find ourselves around the world, even when myopic minded men are saying otherwise. To an Igbere man, failure is not an option, even before America started shouting "yes we can"Igbere people always believe that "...oh! yes we can and so shall it be..."

what do we represent as a people?.......We represent truthfulness , active engagement in governance-in any environment we find ourselves, we believe in hard work and family life.we believe that anybody can make a difference and we don't believe in thy kingdom come , we make and create the enabling environment for our lives and prosperity, believing that our own destiny is in our hands, we make "our own kingdom to come".Even our adversaries admire us from affar, they know that we are unique in the sense that we can never sit on the fence on any issue that concern the livelihood of our community expecially where our heritage is concern
our community is very strong and even America recognise that, there is a different between an Igbere man and any other black man in the world.yes iam from Igbere Ebiri Okomoko

To all Igbere sons and daughters all over the world....with God all things are posible!.....
